Happy Birthday to me .....

And all the rest of it. I'm having a wonderful birthday so far, lots of nice things and cards. 

In knitting news, I put the jumper I was knitting on two circular needles to measure it and, as I suspected, it was too small so got ripped back and I've started one that does fit.

It was good experience because in all my years of knitting I can't recall having knitted a top down jumper or cardigan.

I also found time to knit a hat to go with the fingerless mitts.

I just have to decide who they are for, decisions, decision, decisions lol

I'm off to enjoy the rest of the day now,

Nearly happy birthday to me ....

Come Friday I'll be another year older and I can't help wondering where time has gone. I bet a lot of people wonder that..... Anyway, knitting news.

I completed a pair of fingerless mitts, a quick and easy knit

My burgundy jumper has been worn, I shall have to remember to take a photo of it. I've also started another jumper. A bit of a mashup, the original was knitted top down in Aran and I've decided to knit it in double knitting. I have a feeling I may end up frogging it but that's knitting, anything wrong can be undone.

One FO, One wip

In between knitting my jumper I knitted one for my boyfriends grandson. A nice warm Aran. I don't know why but I kept going wrong on the second sleeve, ripped it back three times but eventually got there. It just needs buttons for the back opening, I hate it when people knit kids jumpers and don't make an opening, they seem to forget children have sticky out bits such as a nose and ears lol.

Hopefully it will be posted this weekend.

My jumper is progressing well, the first sleeve will soon be finished.
