Yet another finished

Yes, I finished mums cardigan and it fits perfect. It took less than 400 grams of yarn so she has a pack left. £4.99 from Aldi for 400 grams, that's a bargain.

We like a bargain us lot lol. I also bought yarn for a jumper for me, a pattern in this months Knit Now magazine. Mine too was a bargain, £1.35 for 100 grams from the stall in the local indoor market. 7 balls should be enough looking at the yardage on the band.

Mum is getting on well with her knitting, just a couple of stitches I had to sort out for her.

One of my sisters has been told to stop knitting by the doctor and she has just bought the wool to knit my nephew a cardigan. He's over 6 foot tall but skinny with it, all I know is that the wool is black, I will have to have a look at the pattern before I decide whether or not to offer to knit it, as long as he doesn't want it anytime soon. I still have a cardigan that I undid to finish knitting for me as well.

Plenty to keep me occupied with the cold wet weather here in Derbyshire, knitting and tea are two of my favourite things but I shall have to get my sewing machine out soon and get a couple of things done that I promised to do........ Anyone got a roundtuit cos I could do with one........

Please leave comments so I know someone is out there ........

Until next time, take care xx
